Finally here – the next generation alaskametro<3 skins!

After weeks of hard work, I’ve finally released all 8 beauty by alaskametro<3 skintones.

Each skin comes with a freckled version. They are hairless, browless, and makeupless. This unique system is designed to allow you to layer on your own preferred brows/body oil/makeup/nails/tattoos/etc., for a truly customizable you.

Each skin is also tintable using the appearance mode sliders.

Bottom row: Spice, Olive, Cacao, Ebony

There have been some subtle changes to the skin since the previous version, aside from its hairlessness. I’ve improved face shading and shading along the torso sides. Lip size is now consistent between darker and lighter tones. * All alaskametro<3 makeups still fit the new skins!

To go with the browless skins, I’ve made tattoo-layer eyebrows in 12 hair colours. Each brow colour has three options, loosely based on previous alaskametro<3 brow options.

I want your feedback! Help me give you the info you need to enjoy my products.

I’m almost ready to re-release the alaskametro<3 skin line, this time in 8 skintones and 12 hair colour options. As wonderful as the multiple tattoo layers ability is, I worry that new users (and oldbies used to Viewer 1 alike) might need help creating their look.

I’d like to produce a how-to guide, aimed at alaskametro<3 products specifically, though I’m sure there’ll be tips in there for anyone. Such a guide would cover tinting a skin base, working with the hair base to perfect your brows, layering tattoo layers to put makeup on over eyebrows, and even fitting eyelashes and shopping tips.

I want your feedback! What’s the best way to get the information across? What works best for non-native English speakers? You can choose more than one option!

Why Siouxsie? Well, this is my Halloween costume for First Life. I’ll be sure to post some photos of my costume in both SL and RL tomorrow so you can see how well I managed to pull it off!

The “Siouxsie” makeup is only available tomorrow, October 31, 2010 at the Second Style Island landing point. It looks best with skin bases by alaskametro<3 since it was designed for them – but you can always try it over other skins to see if it works! Some shape adjustment is probably required due to the heavy makeup and Siouxsie’s distinctive eyebrows and lip shape.

YOUR TRICK: ONE skin base will be L$1 tomorrow, for Halloween only (L$900 value.) Which hair colour and skintone will it be? You’ll just have to find out for yourself… good luck!
